Okay, so this one deserves a special update --

So many of you know, Matt Mercer (Szorlok) is the Dungeon Master Supreme over at Critical Role... they live stream their games to a pretty large audience.

Anyway, today he did about the coolest thing you can possibly do in D&D, and DM'd for the games most famous fan - VIN DIESEL!

5 Days left! Stretch goal time! Adding to your reward, explained.

Hi Friends, 

5 days left! We still have $7,500 to go - which seems like a lot - but it is only $1,894 per day, and our current average is $2,408. So we will get there! Especially as there is usually a flurry of activity in the last 48 hours. So... I'm feeling confident.

STRETCH GOAL

I'm not going to make a financial stretch goal this time... what I'm interested in is the number of backers. I want to reach 1528 backers! We reached 1527 on Mythica 1, and I want to beat that. That is all I care about right now. If we reach that number, the finances will take care of themselves.

And... if we do reach that number, I am going to send every single backer a special reward - a free digital download of our first fantasy movie ever - ORCS! It's a really fun film where you get to see Adam Johnson in a rocking mustache, playing a park ranger who must battle an invasion of primitive screwheads (as in, "This is my boomstick!").

 I tried to give it to you last time, but we missed out stretch goal. This time, we're going to nail it!

So get sharing. WE CAN DO THIS!!!

HOW TO ADD REWARDS

So, I get a lot of questions from people who want to add to their reward. For instance, maybe they want a signed poster by Kevin Sorbo, but also want the Bluray for Mythica 2.

Well, there's no good mechanism in Kickstarter to do this, so we rely on a company called BACKERKIT to help us, and these add-ons are all available when your reward surveys come out. So, any add-on will be available to you after the kickstarter campaign ends. 

However, you can help us out during the campaign by pre-adding the money. So, to go back to my example... say you want the Kevin Sorbo signed poster package, but also want to add the Mythica 2 Bluray... No problem. It's really easy. Just add the $30 for the bluray to your pledge. You can do this by clicking on MANAGE MY PLEDGE, and then just adding money to the box that lists your pledge amount. DO NOT CHANGE YOUR REWARD. Just change the amount of money. So, in the example, you'd up your pledge from $111 to $141 (added $30 for Bluray).

Hi Friends,

So we are getting really close to the finish line now. We end this campaign next Friday, so this is our last full week. We will get there! Just keep telling your friends, posting on blogs, social media, etc. We don't want anyone to complain that they didn't know about the Kickstarter, and missed out!

NEW REWARD

So David Powell has been kind enough to let us offer another one of the Mythica 3 armor pieces as a reward. Again, this is a very high-end piece, of museum quality, and would be amazing for any cosplayer, LARPer, collector, or superfan who just wants to wander around the house in it.

The piece on offer today is Peregus Malister's armor that he wears. It is fit for a king, or the sleazy leader of the Thieves Guild.

I know these pieces are out of most of your price ranges, and I apologize for that - however, they have taken countless hours of painstaking work from a master craftsman, and are genuine works of art. In an effort to make them more affordable, we have lowered the BETYLLA ARMOR to $1,500.

Hi Friends,

So we have 8 days left and $12,000 to go. We are on course to exceed our initial goal, so I will post a stretch goal tomorrow.

MYTHICA 3 POST-PRODUCTION UPDATE

Also, just wanted you all to know that Mythica 3 is progressing along. We had our actors in the studio yesterday doing some ADR (replacing lines in the film where the on-set sound was bad -- usually due to noise that shouldn't be there... planes, trains, etc). We will definitely be ready for our December delivery goal, so I am confident you will all be enjoying Mythica 3 over the holiday season.

COMPETITION UPDATE

Well friends, the first real data is in from the sharing competition... as I mentioned earlier, Google Analytics is usually at least 24 hours behind, sometimes more. So far, I see about 25 people who have created unique links and have actually generated clicks from those links (there may be others out there who didn't get any clicks from day one... there'll probably be a bunch more showing up tomorrow.)

ULTIMATE SHARING COMPETITION

Hi Friends,

So, in the past, we have done a few sharing competitions, which due to the limitations of tracking on Kickstarter, were basically reduced to random choice of someone who had shared... like a raffle.

Well, now Kickstarter has FINALLY integrated Google Analytics into their system, and we can actually track custom links - see how many people have come through a link, and even how much money that link has generated.

So, this means we can have an actual results-based sharing competition.

COMPETITION RULES

Alrighty... so this competition is going to run from now until the finish of the Kickstarter campaign, and because analytics runs 24 hours behind real-time, we will announce the winners a day or two after the campaign ends.

Google Analytics is the final word on all matters. And from experience running this Kickstarter, it's pretty accurate.

How to Enter

1. Create a custom link for yourself.... that sounds tricky, but it is really very simple. Here's a video on how to do it.

 See how easy it is... just open the Kickstarter page using this link:

Then just go to the address bar, click your cursor to the end of the written text, and type in after the link these few characters: /?src=YourName

You can use your Kickstarter name if you like... but use a name we can track you by.

You can also shorten that link via bitly.com or goo.gl to make it less unwieldy.

2. Post your new custom link... Do it as many times as you like, to your Facebook, or Twitter, or wherever, etc and tell people about the Kickstarter campaign, and encourage them to back it!

That's all there is to the competition.
